DIY Wood Wedding Arbor: How to Build a Wooden Arch
Imagination has no limits as we can tell by this gorgeous yet simple wood wedding arbor. To build this wooden arch, you will need 3 pieces of 2 x 4s, hammer and nails, several yards of chiffon and two floral arrangements, one large and one small. And a staple gun, of course!
- Nail the three pieces of wood to form the arch’s structure
- Once assembled, bury it in the ground so it doesn’t budge
- Wrap the chiffon around the wooden arch like in the photo. If the top corners don’t stay in place, use the staple gun.
- Decorate with the floral arrangements (or willow branches, if you want to keep this way under $80.00) and secure them with the help of the staple gun

PVC Pipe Wedding Arch Tutorial: Affordable Elegance
You are more than likely in awe of the simplicity and elegance of this PVC pipe wedding arch. We all tend to think of PVC pipe as cheap and ugly looking, but this has changed everybody’s minds. This is one of the amazing creations of Betsaida, destination wedding planner and founder of The Experialist in Barcelona, Spain.
Its height and strength needs to be adjusted according to the weight of the decorations you plan on adding. If you are not planning on purchasing a pre-made PVC pipe arch, make sure you strap or tether the base to keep it stable. Indoor PVC arches can be embedded in earth-filled flower pots. Otherwise, they do come with a base. Just make sure it’s heavy enough.
Next, you’re ready to attach your favorite flowers and branches to the PVC. Start at one end of one of the PVC pieces, tape or tie the end of the first string of flowers onto the pipe, and then just start wrapping the floral bouquets around, bunching them together as you go. Now, work the adjacent PVC piece, starting at the end where they both meet.
Balance the look with a pop of color on the diagonally opposite corner.

How to Make a Twig Arbor: Indoor Wedding Ceremony Arch Ideas
A tutorial for a floral twig arch that is a great fit for an industrial or modern wedding. To make this stunning curly willow arch, you will need 8 to 12 stems of seven foot tall curly willow branches, 6 to 10 stems of three to six feet tall curly willow, dried Larkspur, 2 large decorative planters or vases, 1 large bag of sand, wire cutters and floral tape.
- Separate the curly willow branches and pick up the straight ones, putting them together.
- Then, pick up the curvy ones, and put them to the left or the right of the straight ones.
- Repeat the process with the shorter branches.
- Push the bottoms to the same height and put them inside the vase. If you want to add more branches, you can do that now to fill up all the blank spaces.
- Let’s secure the vases or planters by filling them up with sand to avoid tipping of the arrangements.
- Now, we are ready to embellish this arrangement by inserting some dried white Larkspur at the base and attaching some to the branches with floral wire or tape.
- Connect the the upper part by tying some branches with thread or floral tape and the rest will spread to the sides
Ready! As simple as it is beautiful.
